These are the core stats modified by Soul Linking. They replace the normal Pathfinder 2E stats.
Players will start out with 35 base HP, 10 base AC and 8 points to allocate to their stats how they wish. (See Levelling up)
✊Strength
STR
Added as a flat bonus to Physical attack rolls.
With a STR stat of 5, you’ll roll d20+5 to hit a target with a spell.
🛡️Vitality
VIT - Your Fortitude DC is 10 + your Vitality stat.
Reduces incoming Physical damage when the attack is Resisted. Does not affect neutral or absorbed damage. Fortitude Saves use this stat.
✨ Magic
MAG
Added as a flat bonus to Magical attack rolls.
With a MAG stat of 5, you’ll roll d20+5 to hit a target with a spell.
💙 Spirit
SPR - Your Will DC is 10 + your Spirit stat.
Reduces incoming magical damage when the attack is resisted. Does not affect neutral or absorbed damage. Used for RESIST (Magic). This is the magical counterpart to Vitality.
The DC for Scanning is the target’s AC + their Spirit stat.
🏃 Speed
SPD - Your Reflex DC is 10 + your Speed stat.
Adds a flat bonus to Initiative rolls and movement distance in Feet Per Action. Your base movement is 30 ft: with a SPD stat of 5, you would have 35 ft of movement.
🍀 Luck
LCK
Luck increases the number of spells Drawn when choosing to Stock (flat bonus, max +4).
It also decreases the chance of being knocked down via a Fortitude save when critically hit, being applied as a flat bonus.
🗣️ Influence
INF
Used for social rolls, such as Deception, Intimidation, Performance, Diplomacy and Persuasion.
This might change in the future to be more like regular Pathfinder with multiple separate social stats, but for the one-shot they are rolled into one to make this a more appealing choice when levelling up.
👁️ Perception
PER - Perception checks are a D20 + your Perception stat.
Used for Scanning for an enemy’s Elemental Affinities, and for observing your environment closely.
🧠 Wisdom
WIS - Wisdom checks are a D20 + your Wisdom stat.
Used for Recalling Knowledge of any kind: essentially every Pathfinder 2E lore skill rolled into one. Also useful in social situations.
